A basement renovation offers a multitude of compelling benefits that can significantly enhance your living space and overall home experience. Transforming this often underutilized area can provide you with additional functional rooms, whether it’s a cozy family entertainment zone, a home office, or a guest suite. By optimizing your basement, you can potentially increase the value of your property, providing a return on investment in the long run.
To provide you with a clearer understanding of the potential costs involved, we have outlined a detailed pricing breakdown below. This overview serves as a valuable tool to help you navigate the financial aspects of your basement renovation project and make informed decisions. Keep in mind that all homes and projects are uniquely different, and pricing can range greatly.
1,000 SQFT BASEMENT, NO BATHROOM, NO WET BAR
*** Basement build-out assumes open layout. The more walls and upgraded trim details, the higher the price per sq. ft. goes up. Please note that even though the size of a basement may be smaller than 1,000 sq. ft. and the cost may be less, the price per square foot may increase.
*** ¾ Bath is based on a 5′ x 8′ room, which includes a vanity, toilet, and a shower. Whether the drains are pre-roughed & the level of cabinetry, countertops, fixtures and tile will indicate the final price.
*** Wet Bars are very hard to estimate until a final design is established. A Basic-Level Beverage Center consists of 7’-8’ of cabinetry and countertops. A Mid-Level Wet Bar includes the same as the basic-level except it adds an island or peninsula section for bar stools. A Luxury-Level wet bar is a more customized space for parties including multiple spaces for customer purchased appliances and high-end finishes.
