Why We Started

Tony didn't set out to just build things.

He set out to build them right.

Early in his career, Tony kept seeing the same pattern play out. Homeowners who came in excited — with a clear vision, a real budget, and a genuine picture of what their home could be — and left feeling like they’d compromised their way through the whole thing.

Not because the work was bad. But because the process was broken from the start. Estimates built on guesses. Selections made under pressure mid-project. Budgets that shifted because nobody locked in real numbers before breaking ground.

He believed there was a better way. So he built one.

In 2005 Tony started his own construction business with one commitment — that every homeowner who trusted him with their home would end up with exactly what they envisioned. No surprises. No compromises. No version of what they wanted.

That commitment became the foundation of everything Macktown Construction Group is today.

Who We Are

By 2022 Macktown Became What It Was Always Meant to Be

A Fully Family-Owned Business.

Cassie, Tony’s wife, manages the finances and day-to-day operations that keep every project running smoothly. Taylor, their daughter, leads the marketing and brand — and is the voice behind how Macktown shows up online and in the community. Jacob, their son, works in production as a Project Manager, keeping projects moving and communication clear from the field.

When you work with Macktown you’re not handed off to a project manager you’ve never met. You’re working with a family that has a personal stake in how your project goes — because our name is on it.

Why It Matters

The design-first process isn't a sales pitch.

It's the result of watching too many good people get let down.

We developed our design-first process because we kept watching the same thing happen — homeowners who did everything right still ended up with homes that didn’t match the vision they started with.

So we flipped it. We design everything before we build anything — every layout, every material, every real cost confirmed before construction ever begins.

It’s how we’d want someone to build for us. And it’s how we build for every family that trusts us.
