Rockford Illinois Kitchen Remodel

BEFORE
AFTER

With a growing family and a layout that limited flow and connection, these homeowners needed a space where everyone could gather comfortably. Their kitchen was walled off from the living and dining rooms, restricting movement and separating key spaces during family get-togethers. We opened up the floor plan by removing both walls, expanded the cabinet layout, and introduced a peninsula and an island with seating on three sides to encourage better flow and socializing. To improve pool access, we replaced a window with a patio door and widened the front hallway to create a beautiful sightline from the front door to the backyard. We also gave the dated stone fireplace wall a full makeover with porcelain tile, floating shelves, and sleek built-ins. The result is a bright, open-concept space where entertaining is effortless and the whole family can finally be together.
